Every compressed air system produces condensate, and on a lubricated machine that condensate carries oil. Discharging it to drain untreated is an environmental offence.
Sterling oil/water separators split the oil from the water so the water can be discharged within consent and only the separated oil needs disposal as waste. We supply them, install them, and change the media on schedule as part of a maintenance contract — which matters, because separator media has a finite life and nothing alarms when it reaches it.
