Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to the supply of goods and services by Air Compressor Ltd, trading as Air Compressor Services, company number 13955409, registered for VAT under GB 452048118, of Unit 21, Bridgwater Court, Oldmixon Crescent, Weston-super-Mare, BS24 9AY.

Quotations and orders

Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation and are based on the information available to us at the time. Where a site survey has not been carried out, a quotation may be subject to revision once the installation has been surveyed. An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing.

Prices and payment

Prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment terms are those stated on your quotation or account agreement. Where equipment is supplied on a hire, rental or Hardware as a Service basis, the charges and term are those set out in the relevant agreement.

Delivery and installation

Delivery and installation dates are given in good faith and are estimates. Where installation requires access, power, drainage or building work, that work is the customer's responsibility unless we have quoted for it. We will agree access requirements with you before attending.

Warranty

New equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty for that product. As authorised distributors we administer manufacturer warranty claims on your behalf. Warranty cover normally requires that the equipment has been installed correctly, maintained to the manufacturer's schedule and repaired using genuine parts; the specific terms are those published by the manufacturer for the equipment supplied.

Servicing and maintenance

The scope, frequency and response times of a maintenance agreement are those set out in that agreement. Work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately before it is carried out, except where emergency action is required to make equipment or a site safe.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with any contract is limited to the price paid under it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of production.

Compliance

Compressed air equipment is subject to statutory inspection requirements, including the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations. Meeting those requirements for equipment on your site remains your responsibility as the operator, and we are happy to advise on what applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
